Hekari United leads 3-1 at halftime in OFC game

first_imgHekari wasted no time in taking the lead scoring in the first two minutes of the game through Joses Nawo who smashed a low shot that went across goal and into the far corner of the net.Their second goal came in the 9th minute doubling the lead 2-0 through Tommy Semmy.AS Lossi fought back to score 21 minutes later through Dick Kauma who headed the ball into the net.Hekari’s Wira Wama scored the third goal in an early contender for goal of the tournament, sweetly meeting a Semmy cross to volley home a spectacular strike taking the score up 3-1 at half time.The game is underway at QBE Stadium Auckland in New Zealand.More to come….Picture courtesy of OFC websitelast_img read more

first_imgA great night was had by all when Denise Mc Elhinney celebrated her 30th birthday at the Dry Arch Inn on Saturday night. Denise, who is an employee at the popular Letterkenny bar, spent the evening partying the night away with a large group of her family and friends.She was joined by a large Inishowen connection, members of Bonagee Ladies soccer team, Convoy Ladies GAA Team, Raphoe Ladies hockey team and all the locals.
