Alice Dye

first_imgIf you are a golfer, the name Dye will ring a bell with you.  Even though Alice’s husband, Pete, is more famous for his golf course design, Alice was an integral part of their design business.  Alice passed away recently at the age of 91.  She and Pete were married for 70 years!Between the two of them, they designed 130 golf courses.  One of these, of course, is Crooked Stick in Carmel.  One of the more famous ones in the United States is Whistling Straights in Wisconsin.  Some of their other famous ones are located in Italy, Florida, and California.Alice Dye was quite a golfer in her own right.  She won 11 city titles in Indianapolis.  I would like to thank the Indianapolis Star for much of this information.last_img read more

People have been talking about my final phobia, how I take pressure in the finals and I can say I gave the answer with my racquet. But Olympics is a completely different feeling. Rio (Games) and World Championship gave me different memories, but, yeah, one gold medal is missing, so definitely I will work hard for that and would love to see myself win that Olympic gold at Tokyo,” Sindhu said in an interaction with PTI.last_img read more
