MCMENAMIN RETURNS TO FINN HARPS AS HORGAN PREPARES FOR KEATING DEPARTURE

first_imgOllie Horgan has made his first signing of the transfer window by bringing back Oisin McMenamin to Finn Park.McMenamin played with Finn Harps from 2009-2011 before leaving the club when Felix Healy took over the reins from James Gallagher.McMenamin was a popular player with the club’s supporters during that spell and showed signs of real promise during that spell as he cut his teeth in the First Division. However,  he became frustrated at a lack of game time under Felix Healy and decided to leave Finn Park.He enjoyed a successful spell with Letterkenny Rovers in the USL and scored regularly under the stewardship of Trevor Scanlon.Horgan has snapped him up as it’s expected that Ruairi Keating will return to Sligo Rovers at the end of the month.Keating, like last season has been a huge player for Harps but it looks like his parent club will take him back for the remainder of their season.
